The Computer Media Dealers Association (CMDA) Mumbai, one of India’s oldest IT associations founded in 1982, convened its monthly structured offline meeting on February 19th, 2026, at Hotel Park View in Andheri West. The event spotlighted Malaysian-based connectivity and management specialist Aten, presented by its authorised partner DC Infotech & Communication.

Aten’s Head, Jaideep Zala, led a dynamic team including Punit Salva, Prasad Mungekar, and Geetanjali. Their technical presentation delivered a wealth of insights on cutting-edge AV/IT solutions, equipping CMDA’s members with actionable knowledge to upgrade systems and forge strategic alliances. In an era of hybrid work and data-driven enterprises, Aten’s expertise in seamless connectivity, spanning KVM switches, video extenders and unified management platforms, positions it as a key player for India’s booming digital infrastructure.
CMDA President Samir Parekh welcomed chief guest Sunita Rajesh Mehta, Corporator from Mumbai’s Ward No 71, Ville Parle. Her husband, Rajesh Mehta, shared comments on government initiatives supporting tech growth and local development. A philanthropist who has aided thousands in his community, Mehta’s insights underscored the alignment between IT innovation and public welfare. Mehta’s landslide victory in the recent election, securing a 10,000-vote margin despite preparation and voter turnout, highlights her strong grassroots connect.
The highly productive session, masterfully organised by President Parekh, concluded with a gala dinner, fostering networking among Mumbai’s IT leaders. CMDA’s events continue to bridge technology, business, and governance, reinforcing its pivotal role in India’s tech ecosystem since the personal computing revolution of the 1980s.
