Mithila, Warli, Gond Art on Display at Sunder Nursery

Sunder Nursery will host a three-day folk and tribal arts festival viz., Anant Utsav, organised by Spic Macay in collaboration with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. The festival shall take place during November 21st-23rd (Friday- Sunday); from 11.30 am to 9 pm.

Over 140 master artisans shall showcase their craftsmanship and creativity in genres such as Mithila, Worli and Gond art forms. Workshops shall be conducted to demonstrate these art forms. Amphitheatre at Sunder Nursery will host performances from West Bengal’s Purulia Chhau and Jharkhand’s Saraikela Chhau to Manipur’s Thougal Jagoi; and qawwali from Uttar Pradesh.

The festival is supported by the Delhi government.

Entry is free.
