Nikon India Opens New Branch Office in Kerala

From News Desk

Nikon India, a 100% subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, a provider of imaging and optical technologies, has announced the opening of its new branch office in Kerala. Located in the heart of Kochi, this new facility marks Nikon’s fifth branch office in India, expanding its presence across the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Sajjan Kumar, MD, Nikon India said, “Kerala has always been a vibrant market for imaging and creative professionals. The opening of our Kochi branch underscores our commitment to serve our customers more closely and efficiently. With this new branch, we aim to bring Nikon’s world-class service and support closer to our valued users in the region.”

Adding to this, Jogi Francis, VP, Nikon India, also shared his thoughts on the launch. He said, “Being a Keralite, it gives me immense pleasure to be part of this milestone occasion. Kerala is a very important and potential market for us, considering consumers’ high buying power and early technical adaptation behaviour. We believe our direct presence will help us provide faster communication to our valued customers in Kerala. As you know, we have introduced new series under the Z CINEMA product category, which is more video-centric; we see very good potential and opportunity in the cine series from the Kerala market.”

The new branch will serve as a hub for Nikon’s sales, marketing and customer support operations in the region. The office will operate from Monday to Saturday, between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

With this strategic expansion, Nikon aims to strengthen its connection with photography enthusiasts, professionals, and business partners across southern India, ensuring easier access to its products, services and training programmes. The Kerala branch will also facilitate better engagement with regional customers and partners, helping them experience Nikon’s cutting-edge imaging innovations first-hand.

The inauguration of the new office will be marked by a special event in Kochi, attended by Nikon representatives, partners, photography community members and media personnel. This new milestone reflects Nikon India’s ongoing efforts to expand its network and support the growing community of photographers and content creators across India.
