The CTOtalk Annual Summit 2025, a forum for technology leadership, concluded its flagship edition on Saturday, bringing together more than 1,000 CTOs, engineering leaders and innovators from across the country. The summit served as a vibrant exchange of ideas on AI-native engineering, the evolving role of technology leaders; and the business impact of intelligent systems.
Hosted by CTOtalk, the Annual Summit has become the definitive forum where technology decision-makers share real-world experiences on scaling organisations, managing tech talent; and navigating the rapidly changing digital landscape.
This year’s lineup featured voices from across the industry, including –
- Gaurav Satija, Sr Director of Engineering, Adobe
- Prajaktdeshpande, Head of Engineering, Atlassian
- Natraj Choudhury, CTO, Lenskart
- Sreedhar Gade, VP of Engineering, Freshworks
- Sudheer Bandaru, CTO, Hivel.ai
- Deepak Dastrala, CTO of Intellect Design Arena
“India has the talent, depth and domain knowledge to lead the world, however the next frontier isn’t just about building smarter systems, it’s about designing AI that works collaboratively to solve complex, real-world challenges. AI is rewriting the rules of innovation. It challenges us to think bigger, move faster, and create intelligent solutions. This is exactly the kind of conversations that happen at CTOtalk to inspire the tech community,” said Suresh Sambandam, Founder and CEO, Kissflow.
“AI-native engineering is no longer about writing code, it’s about orchestrating intelligence. The next decade belongs to vibe coding, where intent becomes the new interface. The future of product and engineering will be shaped by agentic systems that code, learn, and adapt, freeing humans to design purpose, not pipelines,” said Sreedhar Gade, VP Engineering, Freshworks.
“Today, the promise of AI is everywhere, but the business impact is not. The industry’s rush to adopt AI often ignores a fundamental truth: you cannot build intelligent systems on broken foundations. True transformation isn’t about bolting on the latest trend; it’s about applying Design Thinking to simplify complexity first. We’ve moved beyond basic automation to enterprise-grade Agentic AI with our Purple Fabric platform. This approach enables financial institutions to deliver not just innovation, but trusted, auditable, and measurable Business Impact AI that redefines their operations and customer experience,” said Deepak Dastrala, CTO, Intellect Design Arena.
“AI’s story is entering its most exciting chapter, one where bold bets are tested with measurable outcomes. We’re no longer asking if AI works; we’re asking by how much it moves the business forward. Boardrooms now want to know if revenue per engineer is rising. The organisations that win will be those that turn this insight into velocity. With Hivel, we help leaders see that future clearly, where every data point tells a story of impact, efficiency, and accelerated innovation,” said Sudheer Bandaru, CTO, Hivel.ai.
Also joining the discussion was Raul Aju John, the 16-year-old AI prodigy and founder of AIRealm, who shared his inspiring perspective on the future of AI innovation from a young technologist’s lens.
