As a partner in the Erasmus+ project GROWTH (An Innovative Approach to Engage European Youth in Positive Entrepreneurial Initiatives), the organisation is championing entrepreneurship as a vehicle for empowerment, economic inclusion and long-term resilience.
The GROWTH project, funded under the KA220-YOU Cooperation Partnerships in Youth, focuses on fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and equipping young people with the tools and confidence to transform ideas into impact. The initiative is not just about creating businesses – it’s about nurturing a generation that can adapt, lead and innovate.
A Local Partner with a Regional Vision
From its base in Sofia, Balkan Bridge brings a unique understanding of the Balkan socio-economic landscape. The organisation’s work has focused on addressing skill gaps, enhancing digital competencies and developing inclusive training methodologies for NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment or Training), especially in underserved areas.
- As part of its role in the GROWTH project, Balkan Bridge is –
- Contributing to the development of an interactive, game-based learning platform
- Supporting the creation of a comprehensive Handbook and Training Curricula tailored to the realities of young entrepreneurs in Europe
- Organising mentorship pathways and local workshops to guide youth through business ideation and execution
- Coordinating targeted dissemination efforts in Bulgaria, including community events and school-based outreach

What makes GROWTH truly distinctive is its integration of positive psychology into entrepreneurship education. The project emphasises the development of self-concepts such as resilience, proactivity, and self-esteem, essential for navigating both business and personal challenges.
