Dalhousie Public School in Himachal |Travel and Sightseeing

Dalhousie Public School is locate at a height of 7000 feet (2133 metres) in Dalhousie, close to Pathankot. It was founded in 1970 as a Co-Ed boarding school. The school has about 1300 students, in grades kindergarten to 12th. About 1000 are boarders, while the rest are day students. There are about 85 teachers, most of whom live on campus.

Later, Dalhousie Public School also opened a Chandigarh campus.

Students are taught horse riding, swimming, paragliding etc in addition to regular subjects. They also participate in sports.

They are also taken around the world in excursions.
