A cultural and tourism promotion event celebrating Nepal-China ties was held in Guilin, featuring vibrant musical performances and an award ceremony aimed at strengthening bilateral relations through art and culture.
The third SMS Nepal-China Cultural Preservation and Tourism Promotion Honors and Awards, 2081, organised by SMS Music and Entertainment and co-organised by Changdongxi Guilin Estate Management and Guilin Elite Education Consulting has been concluded.
Artists from both Nepal and China performed at the programme. Representing Nepal, well known singers Devika Bandana, Kamal Khatri and the National Dynamic Art Group delivered special musical acts, while Chinese performers presented traditional dances and songs.
Chief Guest Blang Xianfeng, Secretary of the Guilin United Front Work Department, emphasized the importance of people-to-people connections fostered through such events.
Managing Director of SMS Music and Entertainment, Thupten Gyalbo Moktan, expressed hope that such cultural initiatives would deepen understanding and strengthen ties between the two nations. “We are showcasing Nepal’s musical heritage and cultural richness on an international platform,” he said.
