Marco Rubio, the United States Secretary of State has announced on his social media profile that VP Vance and he had been in talks for the last 48 hours with the senior leaders of both India and Pakistan. The talks included both Modi and Shahbaz Sharif, Jaishankar and Asim Munir, Ajit Doval and Asim Malik.

Both India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire and have decided to talk about broad issues at a neutral place.

This is really good news if it comes into play. The world can heave a sigh of relief now.
